When a university or other educational institution adopts a NextGenU course, that course becomes part of their accredited program. In other words, the institution’s existing accreditation extends to the course as it is used within their degree or diploma program. This means that students enrolled through that institution can receive academic credit for the course as part of their accredited studies.
Some of our courses are accredited, while others are open-access learning resources designed to be adopted and accredited by partner institutions.

Certificates show that you’ve completed a high-quality online course. Many learners use them for continuing education or professional development, but acceptance depends on each employer or university. Check with your institution or board for their policy.

NextGenU offers free MPH-level courses that anyone can take, but completing them does not result in an MPH degree.
Learners who want a recognized MPH degree can apply through our partner initiative, Public Health U (PHU), which offers a low-cost, internationally accredited MPH in partnership with EUCLID University.
